[With Jacob tied up by government meetings and trips to Washington, Ashley's picked up some of his workstreams, and as such is examining some of the mission reports in the briefing room when Lucina pops by. She looks up at her, and is in fact somewhat surprised that Lucina's here - kid's been up to a lot lately.]

Yeah, you found me. What's up?

Oh, good. [she smiles weakly before disappearing, only to fully reappear a moment later, walking inside with a box in-hand.] Forgive me, I know I'm not to be working today. But I thought it would be nice to bring these for everyone...

[once she's gotten over to the desk, she opens said box up to display the donuts inside.]

[She leans over to peer at the donuts. They look delicious, and it's a sweet gesture, but.]

That is very nice, but you shouldn't be here on your day off.

Well, I. I live but ten minutes away! It's really no strain on my part...

It's not about the effort it took you to get here. Your days off are meant to be when you get away from work and relax properly. Just walking through those doors [or teleporting in, as Ashley's started doing recently] gets my brain in work mode, so if you're anything like me - and I've had to learn to hold my tongue when I'm mad at work too, so I think you might be - I'm guessing you're kind of thinking about checking a case file or picking up a practice sword while you're here.

[her eyes wince, face coloring with guilt.]

You mean to say...training counts?

Yep. It probably doesn't feel like work if you're enjoying it, and the endorphins are always great too, but it counts.

[She says, as if Cayde being her boyfriend isn't common knowledge around the Force after movie night.]

The library - you know, I've been here almost two years and I'm still not over paper books. Out with friends - shopping, sometimes. I like the food better on this coast than in Jeopardy. Heropa's beach is really nice if you like beaches. Church. Bars - ah, whoops, sorry, you're too young in this country.

There's a whole planet out there, Lucina. Even just sticking to Porter cities, that's still five different cities.
