Oh my goodness, I am definitely interested!! Welcome to DW, we were all new to this style of RP once. What exactly would you like tips on? Looks like you've mastered commenting, posting, and uploading icons; personally most of my journal is totally optional info available for other players' reference or even more optional fun stuff like the playlist etc.

Thanks! Yeah, mostly I'm concerned with adding the basic, need-to-have journal info for other players aside from the ooc/hmd contact and (ofc) the application itself. The game info doesn't suggest anything specific, from what I've seen so far--so anything beyond that I suppose? IC contact, permission, things like that.

Ah yes, of course, this is what I get for replying when I woke up at why o'clock for no reason 😂 Yeah, IC contact's the required one. Permissions is only really required if either a power affects other characters in a major way or, less likely for dear sweet Ryder, your character's likely to touch on sensitive and/or offensive subjects, but you may want it for things like backtagging, fourth walling, various forms of physical/mental contact with your character. Mine are pretty bare bones in my userinfo, but there are some codes and templates here for some more guidance and if you want to do it pretty.
